DEC Nabs 2 Suspects with Counterfeit Cash Worth $130,000
The Drug Enforcement Commission -DEC – has arrested two male suspects for being in possession of 130,000 counterfeit United States Dollars.
DEC Public Relations Officer, Allan Tamba identified the suspects as Isaac Sakala aged 49 and Adonai Kabamba, aged 26.
Mr. Tamba says the Commission conducted an intelligence-driven operation that led to the arrest of two male suspects in Lusaka.
He says all suspects have since been charged accordingly and are expected to appear in court soon.
And, DEC in Luapula province has arrested a cannabis grower.
Felix Ng’andwe aged 29 of Kulikainge Village in Chembe District was apprehended for unlawful cultivation of fresh cannabis plants weighing 1.3 tonnes.
