DEC nabs drug traffickers in WP and Lusaka

The Drugs Enforcement Commission -DEC- has arrested drug traffickers in Western and LUSAKA Provinces.
In Western Province, the DEC in a joint operation with the Zambia Police Service during the festive season arrested 11 people for trafficking in Cannabis.
Among the eleven were three major drug traffickers of LIMULUNGA district.
The three were allegedly dealing in cannabis.
Meanwhile the DEC also formally arrested other suspects of LUSAKA’s Foxdale area for allegedly dealing in three point zero five and one point one grams of Ecstasy.
This is contained in a statement released to ZNBC News in LUSAKA today by DEC Public Relations Officer ALLAN TAMBA.
Mr .TAMBA said the suspected drug dealers are in custody while their contraband has been seized.
