Dog Severly Wounds Woman

A 35-year-old woman is nursing severe wounds in Lusaka, after she was viciously bitten by a BOERBOEL dog in the neighbourhood of Lilayi area.

The incident happened last Friday, March 28, 2025, around 19 hours.

MARGARET MWALE has told ZNBC news that she was attacked by the dog while on her way to the market.

Ms MWALE, who sustained wounds on her right arm, says as she was passing in front of one of the houses, the dog charged at her as the owner was entering the yard.

Meanwhile, Lusaka City Council Public Relations Manager, CHOLA MWAMBA has urged dog owners to ensure their pets are securely confined to prevent such incidents.
