“Don’t abuse contraceptives”

Kalumbila District Council Chairperson, Shadrick Munjunga, has called on members of the public not to abuse contraceptives.
Mr. Munjunga told ZNBC News that the abuse of contraceptives is negatively affecting the population of the district.
This comes after the district recorded five babies born on Christmas Day.
District Health Director, Itulawami Isonga, said both the mothers and the babies are in good health.
Dr. Isonga said the district has worked, and the local authority has constructed maternity wings in rural health facilities to provide maternal services closer to the people.
