Don’t politicize drought-Mpezeni

Paramount Chief MPEZENI says the current drought should not be politicized as it is a natural occurrence.
The Paramount Chief says despite the current situation, President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA should be allowed to address the crisis.
The Paramount Chief said this when he paid a courtesy call on Water Development and Sanitation Minister, COLLINS NZOVU at his office in Lusaka.
He noted that traditional leaders are prepared to support the government’s drought response initiatives aimed at alleviating people’s suffering.
And Mr. NZOVU assured the traditional leader that his ministry will continue to provide regular updates on the various programmes being implemented to address the crisis.
