By Fortune Sinyangwe
Director of Public Prosecution GILBERT PHIRI says the law should be so punitive on illegally acquired wealth to discourage others from doing the same.
Mr. PHIRI says his offices have a Constitutional mandate to prosecute individuals who steal from the public.

Mr. PHIRI said this during the launch of the Inter-Agency Cooperation and Coordination Framework in Kitwe.
Meanwhile Mr. PHIRI who is also the Inter-agency Steering Committee Chairperson said the task force will endeavor to meet the expectations of the Zambian people.
