ECZ Ready for Delimitation

The Electoral Commission of Zambia – ECZ – says it is ready to do delimitation and conduct any electoral process easily without any financial challenge.

ECZ Commissioners McDonald CHIPENZI and Major General Vincent Mukanda say it is not true that the operations at the Commission will be affected as a result of the cutting of some of the American aid to the country.

Speaking during a press briefing in Kawambwa, Mr Chipenzi said the commission is fully funded by the Zambian government to carry out its duty.

And Mr Chipenzi has urged political parties participating in the Kala ward by-election in Luapula Province to conduct their campaigns peacefully and respect the scheduled time table for campaigns.
