ECZ targets 50% turnout for Pambashe by-election

The Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- targets get over fifty percent voter turnout in the Pambashe Parliamentary by-election in Kawambwa District.
ECZ Commissioner MCDONALD CHIPENZI says the Commission also wants to reduce the number of rejected ballot papers through voter sensitization.
Speaking when he addressed stakeholders in Kawambwa , Mr. CHIPENZI said the commission wants voter apathy minimized.
Mr CHIPENZI challenged political parties and voter educators to ensure that many of voters cast their votes.
He also advised political stakeholders to trust the electoral process.
