Energy Minister Calls for SADC Collaboration on Sustainable Energy
Energy Minister, Makozo Chikote, has called on Southern African Development Community (SADC) member countries to collaborate to attain sustainable energy.
Speaking during a panel discussion at the ongoing SADC Sustainable Energy Week in Botswana, Mr. Chikote said the region has the potential to tackle the energy challenge, but there is limited collaboration among member states.
Mr. Chikote noted that policies need to be harmonized to speak to the market and attract investment in countries in the region.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by First Secretary for Press at the Zambia High Commission in Gaborone, Botswana, Julia Malunga.
