ERB maintains petrol prices, raises diesel rate

The Energy Regulation Board –ERB- has maintained the pump price for petroleum products except for diesel.
ERB Chairperson JAMES BANDA says the prices of Petrol, Kerosene, and Jet A-1 remain unchanged.
Mr. BANDA has however announced an increase in the pump price of diesel from K28. 90 ngwee to K30.11 ngwee, effective midnight tonight.
Speaking at a Press Briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. BANDA explained that the increase is due to wholesale price changes which were below the 2.50 percent trigger threshold.
