FAZ guides on fresh nominations

The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Electoral Committee says fresh nominations for provinces will be conducted for positions where all candidates’ applications were invalid.

Electoral Committee Chairperson RONALD HATOONGO’s remarks come after the majority of the applicants from the provincial and executive member positions were rendered invalid for failing to meet the required selection criteria.

HATOONGO says all applicants that did not go through have until Friday to petition their results that were thrown out.

Meanwhile applicants who failed the eligibility test for the -FAZ- presidential seat have bemoaned the manner in which the tests were conducted.

FRANCIS HAFWITI told ZNBC News that it is shocking that his application was thrown out after meeting all the requirements needed before filing in.

And ALEX NJOVU said he will petition the result adding that it is unfair for only one person to go unopposed.
