FAZ to widen team selection

The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- says it will widen the national football team selection in order to address the current poor performance of the Chipolopolo.
FAZ General Secretary REUBEN KAMANGA says having a wider selection pool is one way of addressing the poor performance that has been exhibited at the COSAFA tournament and during the World Cup Qualifiers.
KAMANGA says the FA will do its best to ensure that issues of national team selection are addressed before the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers start.
In an interview with ZNBC Sport News KAMANGA admitted that the Chipolopolo’s performance at the COSAFA tournament that saw the defending Champions exit the competition from the group stage was disappointing.
