Government has urged the Football Association of Zambia to resolve the poor performance of the Chipolopolo before the team starts the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers.
Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU says he is disappointed that standards of the Chipolopolo have begun to decline despite investments made in men’s football.
Speaking to ZNBC Sport News in an interview, NKANDU say the team has been given a fair draw for the 2025 Morocco AFCON tournament qualifiers and that there should be no excuse.
He says Group G comprising current title holders Ivory Coast , Sierra Leone and Chad is easy, but that the Chipolopolo should not underrate any opponent.
NKANDU has since urged the team to endeavor to win all its group games during the Qualifiers that will run from September to November 2024.
