FAZ unveils NORA HAUPTLE as Copper Queens Coach

The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- has officially unveiled NORA HAUPTLE as the new Copper Queens Coach.
The Swiss national will be assisted by PHILIPE HASLER while Coaches CHARLES HAALUBONO and ENALA SIMBEYA have been appointed to the technical bench.
Speaking at the event in Lusaka today, FAZ President ANDREW KAMANGA said the coach has been given the target to win the WAFCON and to qualify to the 2028 Olympics among others.
KAMANGA said like the Chipolopolo Coach, HAUPTLE’s salary will be paid by Government and the Ministry of Sports.
And addressing the media, HAUPTLE said she is delighted to take on the Copper Queens challenge.
She said her aim will be to deliver on her contractual targets and also make sure the Copper Queens are rated among the top 20 teams globally.
HAUPTLE said instilling tactical discipline and a change of play will be her aim as she wants to build a strong side that will contend for trophies.
The Swiss will be in charge of the Copper Queens until December 2027.
