Fertiliser distribution hits 100% success rate

The Ministry of Agriculture has registered 100 percent success in fertiliser distribution exercise for the 2024/2025 under the direct inputs supply mechanisms.
Agriculture Minister REUBEN MTOLO also says 285,044 beneficiaries out of the 285,168 targeted farmers, had received inputs as of December 26, 2024.
Mr. MTOLO says the figure represents 99.96 percent success in input distribution during the period under review.
Meanwhile, Mr. MTOLO says 98.1 percent beneficiaries have received inputs under the Electronic Voucher Roll Out Mechanism
He says the Electronic Voucher Rollout Mechanism has streamlined input distribution by allowing farmers to choose inputs that best meet their specific needs.
And Mr .MTOLO says, the Ministry of Agriculture will soon publish the full lists of verified beneficiaries under the Farmer Input Support Programme.
He says this follows the completion of the verification exercise for the FISP beneficiaries under the 2024/25 farming season.
