First Lady in Kabwe to handover Autism centre
ZANIS – Chief Chamuka of Chisamba District in Central Province says autistic children require care, leadership and love.
The traditional leader underscored that children with autism need supportive leadership for them to realise their potential.
Chief Chamuka was speaking when First Lady MUTINTA HICHILEMA, who is in Kabwe to handover the Mutinta Hichilema Autism and Special Needs Centre, paid a courtesy call on five chiefs in Kabwe.
And the First Lady said autistic children need love and must be nurtured just like children.
Mrs. HICHILEMA said her vision is to see the facility expanding into a boarding school that should cater for all autistic children countrywide.
