First Lady praises China’s economic support

(ZANIS) First Lady MUTINTA HICHILEMA has commended the Chinese government for supporting Zambia in different sectors of the economy.

Mrs. HICHILEMA says China has supported Zambia in agriculture, education, health and infrastructure development among others.

ZANIS reports that the First Lady said this today in Lusaka, when she received 110 mattresses and 110 bicycles from the Republic of China.

Mrs. HICHILEMA noted that the donation signifies the strong bond that the two countries have continued to share for a long time.

And Chinese Ambassador to Zambia HAN JING has commended the government for the steps it has taken towards looking after the welfare of the vulnerable people in the country.
