Floods Expose Human Remains at Chunga Cemetery

Floods have washed away some graves at Chunga Cemetery in Lusaka’s Matero constituency, exposing human remains.

A check by ZNBC News today found human remains with blankets washed away into the drainages around the cemetery.

Residents of Chunga have expressed concern over the state of Chunga Cemetery, saying some graves are caving in due to the floods.

Meanwhile, Lusaka City Council Public Relations Manager, Chola Mwamba, says a team has been dispatched to the cemetery to verify the development.
