Foreign Students Urged to Follow Immigration Rules

The Department of Immigration has advised all foreign students studying in the country to adhere to the guidelines given to them as it helps to learn without inconvenience.
Lusaka Regional Immigration Officer MOSES MAMBWE says it is the department’s wish for all international students to acquire education in Zambia, but must ensure that their documentation is in place.
Mr. MAMBWE was speaking during the Cavendish University International Students Orientation.
Meanwhile, Kenya’s Deputy High Commissioner to Zambia ROBERT KOBIA advised international students studying in Zambia to prioritise their education at all costs.
Mr. KOBIA said Zambia is a country that has placed premium on quality education and studying within the country is an advantage for all.
And Cavendish University Vice Chancellor WELANI CHILENGWE said the school has produced the finest leaders holding various positions in different countries.
University Executive Director, REGINALD RAINEY said the institution has partnered with various establishments to give employment opportunities to graduates at the completion of studies.
