German seeks collaborations with Zambia

NAIS-Germany’s Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture, CEM OEZDEMIR says enhanced collaboration between Zambia and Germany will help in transferring technology for improved food systems.

Mr. OZDEMIR noted that Germany’s support to the Agriculture Knowledge Training Centre -AKTC- at the Golden Valley Agriculture Research Trust -GART- in Chisamba district has helped more women to venture in agricultural production.

Speaking when he toured the training centre, Mr. OZDEMIR emphasised the role of women in transforming the agricultural landscape.
