Govt Calls for More Desk Production

Government has urged institutions under the Ministry of Technology and Science to ramp up desk manufacturing.

Technology and Science Minister, FELIX MUTATI says the initiative will help alleviate unemployment rates in various constituencies.

Mr. MUTATI says in order to achieve this; there is need for institutions to utilize their workshops and human resource for both training and production.

He said this during a meeting with Ministry of Technology and Science Institutions at TEVETA office.

Mr. MUTATI highlighted the importance of providing technological solutions through innovation and relevant skills for economic transformation.
