Govt commended for improving budget allocation to education

Stakeholders in the education sector have commended government for giving education the much needed attention in the 2025 national budget.
Kitwe-based Educationalist, CLEMENT KASENGE says the 31.5 billion Kwacha proposed budget for education will improve the sector.
Dr. KASENGE says investing in early childhood education will ensure children have the best foundation.
He has also praised government for its intention to employ more teachers as it will reduce the teacher-pupil ratio.
And Zambia National Union of Teachers -ZNUT- Copperbelt Province Director BUNDA KATUTU says the union appreciates government for increasing the education budget.
