Govt Committed to Embracing Ideas from the Youth

Health Minister, ELIJAH MUCHIMA, says government is committed to embracing ideas from the youth on national development.

Dr MUCHIMA says youths should not shy away from voicing out on issues affecting them as the government is ready to attend to them.

Dr MUCHIMA, who was guest of honor at this year’s Youth Day celebrations in Solwezi District, urged youths to desist from engaging in vices such as drug abuse.

And North Western Province Minister ROBERT LIHEFU said young people should focus on finding solutions to the challenges that the country is facing.

Mr. LIHEFU said the economic challenges that the country is facing can only be addressed if young people provide meaningful solutions to challenges of youth unemployment and job creation.

Meanwhile, Solwezi Central Member of Parliament STAFFORD MULUSA has challenged young people to start taking up leadership roles.

Mr. MULUSA, who is also Government chief whip, said government is ready to work with young people that want to improve the welfare of the country.
