Construction of the first ever government school in Lusaka’s Meanwood Kwamwena area in Chongwe district has started at a cost of 19 million Kwacha.
Chongwe Member of Parliament, SYLVIA MASEBO has commissioned the project, whose works are being funded under the Zambia Education Enhancement Project -ZEEP.
Ms MASEBO, who is also Lands Minister, says construction of Kwamwena Secondary School will directly address a critical need for such a facility in Madido ward.
She has explained that the institution will provide an optimal learning environment and create opportunities for the young people in the area to realize their full potential.
