Govt focused on jobs, economic growth – HH
By Sharon Siame
President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says his administration is committed to designing reforms that can lead to economic growth and job creation.
President HICHILEMA says this can be achieved through listening to concerns of the private sector.
He has called for the full participation of the private sector, women and the youths in the country’s development agenda.
The President says Government is committed to reducing business costs and improving the ease of doing business.
This was in a speech read on his behalf by Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO during the third Private Sector Day Re-Run Meeting in Lusaka today.
And Public Private Dialogue Forum Director General ANDREW CHIPWENDE said the platform is important for communicating reforms that Government has embarked on.
Mr. CHIPWENDE said it is important that the private sector is supported with resources and research capabilities to present proposals to Government that can be easily understood and adopted.
