Govt takes bursaries management to Local Govt

The management of Technical Education and Vocation Training -bursaries has been shifted to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.

The Technical Education and Vocation Training -bursaries were previously being managed by the Ministry of Technology and Science.

This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by Ministry of Techonology and Science Permanent Secretary BRILLIANT HABENZU.

Mr HABENZU says the Eighth National Development Plan, pursuant to the Decentralisation Policy entails that bursaries channeled through the Constituency Development Fund-CDF be managed by the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
