Govt takes up social media monetization issue

Youth, Sport and Arts Permanent Secretary FUMBA CHAMA says the ministry will next month hold a National Arts festival aimed at creating opportunities for new voices.

Mr CHAMA also announced that the Ministry is engaging with different stakeholders to help Zambian content creators become eligible for monetization.

He was speaking in Lusaka, during a media launch where he gave updates on the  achievements and progress in the arts sector.

Mr. CHAMA said the government believes that creativity and innovation of its people is at the center of economic development.
