Govt to audit CDF

Secretary to the Treasury FELIX NKULUKUSA says the government will engage auditors to audit the Constituency Development Fund..

Mr NKULUKUSA said despite the teething problems that the fund is faced with, the government is determined to ensure that the fund is used for the intended purpose.

He called for prudent utilisation of the fund so that it improves the living standards of the people.

MR NKULUKUSA was speaking during the 2025 post budget symposium and tax-dialogue in Chipata.

And USAID- Mission Zambia director Peter Wiebler  said transparency and accountability will be critical in delivering the public services committed through the 2025 national budget.
