This has been necessitated by the change in the school curriculum.
Katete District Education Board Secretary Felistus Nkoloma said the upgrade will require a lot of support.

Mr. Phiri said Kanjeza Day Secondary School will soon be ready once the construction of ablution blocks is completed.
He said the school was constructed at a total cost of 1.5 million kwacha from the Constituency Development Fund.
Meanwhile, Katete Town Council Chairperson Fanwell Chama said the CDF and free education policy have continued to create positive impacts in the education sector.
