Haimbe holds talks with UK Minister

Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister  MULAMBO HAIMBE has held a  bilateral meeting with UK Minister for Development  ANNELIESE DODDS at the United Nations Headquarters on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

Mr. HAIMBE expressed appreciation to the UK for hosting President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA during his recent visit.

And Mr HAIMBE introduced Dr. SAMUEL MUNZELE MAIMBO as the candidate for President of the African Development Bank and requested for the UK’s support.

And UK Minister for Development ANNELIESE DODDS has sympathised with Zambia on the devastating effects of climate change that have seriously affected food security.

Ms DODDS says the UK is happy with the Social Cash Transfer being implemented by the Zambian Government.
