HH can’t influence eligibility case-Spuki

UPND Member SPUKI MULEMWA says allegations that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA will influence the court’s verdict on former President EDGAR LUNGU’s eligibility case are baseless.

Mr. MULEMWA says the claims are unfounded and baseless as President HICHILEMA respects the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary.

Mr. MULEMWA has called on citizens to respect the court’s decision in tomorrow’s judgment involving former President EDGAR LUNGU.

In a statement issued to ZNBC news, Mr. MULEMWA said Zambians gave President HICHILEMA a five-year mandate to govern the country and all citizens regardless of their political affiliation or status must respect the will of the people.
