HH Commends ZICB for supporting SMEs

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has commended the Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank Limited- ZICB- for designing products aimed at supporting Small and Medium Enterprises -SMEs- in the mining and agricultural sectors.

President HICHILEMA says by targeting these key industries, the bank is playing an important role in creating jobs and generating wealth for Zambia.

He says the government remains committed to supporting home grown initiatives that drive economic growth and foster prosperity.

The President adds that the government believes in the transformative potential of local businesses to reshape Zambia’s economy and enhance the livelihoods of its citizens.

This is according to a message posted on President HICHILEMA’s Facebook Page monitored by ZNBC News.
