HH Commissions Kasanjiko Mini Hydro Power Station

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has officially commissioned the 640 kilowatts Kasanjiko Mini Hydro Power Station in Mwinilunga District.

President HICHILEMA says the government will ensure that rural areas are electrified to spur economic and social development.

The President has assured that he will continue to improve the quality of lives for all Zambians.

President HICHILEMA has also tasked the Rural Electrification Authority to extend power lines to Kalumbila so that the plant can strengthen its commercial value.

He said this when he addressed people that had gathered to witness the commissioning of the power plant.

And Energy Minister MAKOZO CHIKOTE has thanked people in the province which has enabled the government to continue delivering development.
