Contractors working on chiefs’ palaces urged to expedite works

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has urged all contractors working on chiefs’ palaces across the country to expedite the works.
President HICHILEMA says those in charge of constructing the palaces should also ensure that the works are of good quality.
He says Government wants to improve the welfare of all traditional leaders, and as such, the construction of palaces should not be delayed.
President HICHILEMA said this when he paid a courtesy call on Chief HAMUSONDE, before gracing the Lwanza Traditional Ceremony, in Bweengwa – Monze district.
And President HICHILEMA said he remains focused to develop the country amidst criticism from some sections of society.
He also said the government remains committed to working with all traditional leaders to improve the lives of Zambians and develop the country.
Speaking earlier, Chief HAMUSONDE, advised political players to avoid criticising President HICHILEMA for the sake of criticising.
He said political players, especially those intending to one day lead as Republican Presidents, should avoid negativity, but consider working with President HICHILEMA so that they will be able continue from where he will end.
Chief HAMUSONDE commended President HICHILEMA for the amount of work he has done within a space of three years, amidst heavy criticism from political opponents.
