HH eulogizes Dr John Phiri

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says the former Cabinet Minister JOHN PHIRI will always be remembered for the contribution he made to the country’s development .
President HICHILEMA says Dr. PHIRI was a patriot whose contribution lives on.
The President said this through Local Government Minister GARY NKOMBO during Dr. PHIRI’s funeral service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
Mr NKOMBO has since sent a message condolence to the bereaved family.
And, former Labour minister FACKSON SHAMENDA said Dr. PHIRI had remarkable character that embodied discipline and service to the nation.
Meanwhile, Dr PHIRI’s Wife EDITH, who was represented by CYNTHIA NYONDO described her husband as one that taught her to be selfless.
Meanwhile, Dr PHIRI’s children have described him as a man who was not just a father to them but to many other people in society.
