HH fires Deputy Police Chief MILNER MUYAMBANGO

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has with immediate effect terminated the appointment of MILNER MUYAMBANGO as Deputy Inspector General of Police.

Mr. MUYAMBANGO was until now in charge of Operations at the Zambia Police Service.

The decision by the President is pursuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia.

President HICHILEMA has expressed gratitude to Mr. MUYAMBANGO for his service to the Government and has wished him well in his future endeavours.

He has reiterated the importance of Public Officers respecting the law, upholding the rule of law and being accountable to the citizens they serve.

This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by State House Chief Communications Specialist CLAYSON HAMASAKA.
