HH hailed for strong stance on corruption

Zambia Correctional Service Head of Chaplaincy Reverend SAM ZULU has hailed President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for his strong stance on the fight against corruption.
Reverend ZULU says the stance by the UPND Government on corruption is key in preserving the country’s morals and laying a strong foundation for the future generation.
He said this in his homily during the commemoration of Independence Day celebration that was led by President HICHILEMA at the Freedom Statue in Lusaka.
Reverend ZULU also praised the President for being an advocate for strong family values and for championing the One Zambia, One Nation Motto.
He has challenged parents and families to take a proactive role in inculcating strong principles and Morales in children as a way of teaching the younger generation how to preserve and honour the country’s values.
Speaking at the event, former Republican Vice President, NEVERS MUMBA said significant among Zambia’s achievements in 60 years of Independence is the role the country has played in ensuring other countries in the region also attained independence.
Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Zambia WALID HASSAN has congratulated Zambia and its people for being a beacon of peace which has made it easy for other nations to foster bilateral ties and relations in a lot of areas.
And Zambia United National Freedom Fighters Association National Chairman GEORGE MULUSA has urged Politicians to preach unity and deists from violence as they can only be one president at a time.
