“HH has made notable impact domestically and internationally”

Governance and Development Advocates Zambia Executive Director Elias Mulenga says President Hakainde Hichilema has made a notable impact both domestically and internationally since taking office in August 2021.
Mr. Mulenga says President Hichilema’s focus on economic recovery, tackling Zambia’s debt crisis, and improving fiscal management have been noted successes.
He says the implementation of free education at primary and secondary levels has also been a major step towards improving access to education in Zambia.
Mr. Mulenga told ZNBC News that President Hichilema has also bolstered the fight against corruption.
He says the President’s leadership has led to a more stable and transparent governance system.
