HH holds meeting with Chiefs

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has encouraged traditional leaders in the country to avoid succession disputes and focus on contributing to national development.
And President HICHILEMA has thanked chiefs for acknowledging government efforts in addressing matters affecting the nation.
President HICHILEMA was speaking in Livingstone when he met with Chiefs who attended the Bene-Mukuni traditional Ceremony in Kazungula District.
And the Head of State has assured chiefs that the government will work with them to address various issues.
He has further thanked chiefs for their continued encouragement and support in pushing the peace and unity narrative in the country.
And House of Chiefs Chairperson Chief NKAMBO has praised President HICHILEMA and his government for efforts being made to alleviate challenges in the nation.
Chief NKAMBO says the President’s efforts have been noticed and that he should not relent.
He has assured President HICHILEMA that chiefs will cooperate with the government in bringing about development.
Chief NKAMBO has emphasized that traditional leaders and government are partners in development.
And Southern Province Council of Chiefs Chairperson Chief NALUBAMBA has encouraged President HICHILEMA to remain focused and positive during this difficult time.
Chief NALUBAMBA has also thanked the President for his dedication to addressing national concerns.
