HH honours 13 Zambians

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has honoured 13 Zambians for their distinguished service to the state as part of the country’s diamond Jubilee celebration.
This was during the National Honours and Awards Investiture Ceremony held at Lusaka Showgrounds.
President HICHILEMA, who was accompanied by First Lady MUTINTA HICHILEMA joined hundreds of citizens in the Lusaka Showgrounds.
Among those to be honoured is Zambia’s top FIFA Referee DIANA CHIKOTESHA who has been conferred with the president’s Insignia of Honour.
Others honoured with the Order of the Eagle of Zambia, Third Division, are Dr. BHARATKUMAR BHATT, Dr KOKILA BHATT, Dr GETRUDE MWANGALA AKAPELWA, Ambassador TENS KAPOMA, DEBBIE NORMAN and LAWRENCE THOMPSON.
The recipients for the Order of the Grand Companion of Freedom, Third Division, posthumously include JOHN MUKATAMI, Dr FERGUS McPHERSON and Dr PHILEMON NSANGWA.
Others are RACHEL MWENDA, ELLA CHILILA and HOLDINSON KAMBOLE.
