HH honours KK on Independence Day

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has laid wreaths on the grave of First Republican President Dr KENNETH KAUNDA at the Embassy Park, the Presidential Burial Site.
This is in commemoration of ZAMBIA’s 60th Independence Celebrations.
President HICHILEMA who arrived around 1015 hrs. at the site, went straight to laying the wreaths on Dr KAUNDA’s grave, honoring him for his legacy and leadership that guided Zambia to independence.
Dr. KAUNDA is a key figure in the country’s freedom struggle and served as the first Republican President from 1964 to 1991.
