Movement for Multiparty Democracy-MMD-Leader NEVERS MUMBA has defended President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA against criticism from some opposition political parties.
In an interview with ZNBC News, Dr. MUMBA dismissed accusations made by opposition politician KELVIN FUBE who labeled President HICHILEMA as “stingy”.
The MMD leader said the expectation where the head of state is seen as a provider of handouts to political loyalists has done more harm than good to Zambia’s development.
Dr. MUMBA defended President HICHILEMA’s record, saying the President has helped more people and given more resources than anyone in the opposition could ever do.
He said President HICHILEMA will remain committed to empowering Zambians, particularly through initiatives aimed at supporting institutions, families, and young people.
