HH to attend SADC virtual Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit

President Hakainde Hichilema is expected to attend the virtual Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government tomorrow.

The Summit will be chaired by the United Republic of Tanzania and Chair of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

President Hichilema will engage with other leaders on matters such as the post-election political and security situation in the Republic of Mozambique.

Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Mulambo Haimbe confirmed this to ZNBC News today in a statement.

Mr. Haimbe said President Hichilema’s participation underscores Zambia’s dedication to fostering collective efforts to advance regional stability and shared aspirations.
