HH to attend virtual Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit of SADC

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is today expected to attend the virtual Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government.

The Summit will be chaired by the United Republic of Tanzania and Chair of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation Dr. SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN.

President HICHILEMA will engage with other leaders in the Organ on matters crucial to the region’s peace and stability.

Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE has confirmed this in a statement to ZNBC News today.

Mr HAIMBE says the Summit will deliberate on the appointment of the Special  Representative, Head of Mission of the SADC Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
