HH to Grace 2025 Nc’wala Ceremony in Chipata

President Hakainde Hichilema is expected this Saturday in Chipata, Eastern Province, to grace the 2025 Nc’wala ceremony of the Ngoni people.

Eastern Province Minister Peter Phiri says the province is ready to host the President.

Mr. Phiri says President Hichilema will return to Lusaka immediately after the ceremony.

He added that the government has put hygiene and security measures in place to ensure the successful hosting of the event.

He also said that King Mswati of Eswatini has delegated the Deputy Prime Minister to represent him.

And Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba said the command has beefed up security at the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Paramount Chief Mpezeni is this afternoon expected to move from Ephendukeni Palace in Feni to Laweni in Mtenguleni.
