HH wants DCs on the CDF Committees

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has called for the speedy conclusion of processes to include District Commissioners on the Constituency Development Fund-CDF- committees.
President HICHILEMA is disappointed that his directive given a while ago on the matter has not been implemented.
During a meeting with District Commissioners from across the country at State House this morning, President HICHILEMA said he will no longer tolerate officers who are not willing to work.
He said those not ready to serve should resign and make way for others who are prepared to contribute.
President HICHILEMA also called for strengthened collaboration between District Commissioners and other public officers at the district level such as Members of Parliament, Mayors, and Councillors.
He said there is no reason why District Commissioners should not work together with other officers in their districts when the objective for everyone in government is to serve the Zambian people.
Earlier in the meeting, Lusaka District Commissioner ROSA ZULU thanked President HICHILEMA for the opportunity to discuss various development issues.
