President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has held a bilateral meeting with Kenya’s President, WILLIAM RUTO in Beijing, China.

This is on the sidelines of the 2024 Forum on China-Africa -FOCAC- summit.

President HICHILEMA has noted that Zambia and Kenya share warm relations since time immemorial.

He explained that during their bilateral meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest between the two countries.

The President has noted that just like Zambia, Kenya is also faced with some challenges occassioned by climate change.

President HICHILEMA has stated the need for Zambia and Kenya to work together on how best to collectively become more resilient to climatic shocks.
