Hit and run leaves 2 dead

Two people have died in an accident in Mpongwe after the motor bike they were riding was hit by an unknown motor vehicle.
Copperbelt Police Commissioner PEACEWELL MWEEMBA has named the deceased as MOSES KAUNDA aged 40 and another one only identified as SAKALA, both who died on the spot.
Mr. MWEEMBA said the accident happened on Friday night at around 19:30 hrs along Machiya road near Mpongwe river.
He has told ZNBC NEWS that the two bodies have been deposited to Mpongwe mission hospital awaiting post-mortem and burial.
The driver of the unknown vehicle is not yet known because he did not stop after the accident.
