Influx of Refugees expected in Luapula following unrest in DRC

Caritas Zambia says it is closely monitoring the influx of refugees at the Mantapala Refugee Settlement in Luapula Province, following the ongoing crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Speaking in an interview with ZNBC News Caritas ZAMBIA Mantapala Project Programme Manager EUGENE NG’NDU said various interventions have been put in place to support the wellbeing of the refugees.

Meanwhile , Caritas Zambia Executive Director, Father GABRIEL MAPULANGA, said the organization will continue to work with Government to support the refugees at the Settlement.
