Isoka Chiefs Commended for Promoting Agriculture

Small and Medium Enterprise Development #Minister ELIAS MUBANGA, has commended traditional leaders in Isoka district for inspiring communities to engage in agricultural activities.

Mr. MUBANGA says their efforts align with government initiatives to promote food security and economic growth.

He has assured the chiefs that government will continue supporting their agenda, as they play a crucial role in mobilising communities for development.

Mr. MUBANGA was speaking when he met traditional leaders in Isoka district.

And Chief KATYETYE of Isoka appealed to the government to identify potential farmers in the district for funding.

The traditional leader said the area has capacity to contribute significantly to national food security.

And Senior Chief KAFWIMBI of the Namwanga people welcomed the Minister’s visit, stating that it fosters peace and enhances oversight of developmental projects.

The Traditional Leader also urged opposition political party leaders to collaborate and work towards delivering meaningful outcomes for the nation.
